-There will be plenty of close/easier controls for beginners and family fun, and plenty of distance/harder controls to challenged the advanced participants. 

-Depending on route choice there may be multiple fence crossings in the southern half of the map.  The fences are post and wire - generally not barbed wire but in a several places there is at least on strand of barbed wire.  Please crawl under or between wires.  Do not use the wire as a foot hold.

-There are several loose horses in the southern part of the map.  They wil leave you alone if you leave them alone.

-There are several small streams where the slopes are very steep and deep,  be careful when crossing and look for locations with easier crossings.

-Other occasional hazards include Black Locust (thorn) trees, and leaf covered rocks and roots prevalent in late fall.
